Phoenix Historic DistrictPhoenix Historic District

The Phoenix Historic District is by far one of the most unique areas in Phoenix, AZ.  Here you can find a large variety of properties, ranging from one-of-a-kind bungalows that date back to the early 1900′s, to ultra modern lofts, with amazing views of the entire Valley.  Historic Phoenix also provides many forms of entertainment, including museums, sports stadiums, the Phoenix Opera, fine dining, art walks (first Friday), farmer’s markets, and many more.  Another key feature of this area is the light rail system.  It’s an inexpensive way to cruise Downtown Phoenix without the hassle of traffic or parking, and it makes a night “out on the town” safe and headache free!

The Phoenix Historic District is composed of a large number of specific Historic Districts, each with their own unique story.  Some of the more popular, and well known districts are, Willow, Coronado, Encanto, F.Q. Story, Garfield, Roosevelt, Windsor, and Ashland Place, however there are almost a total of 40 districts that make up the whole of the Phoenix Historic District.

The Phoenix Historic District not only has a diverse variety of properties and activities, but also a diverse variety of schools to choose from.  There are top of the line public, private, and art based schools available.  Saint Mary's High School, Brophy College Preparatory, Arizona School For The Arts, Kenilworth Elementary School, and Central High School are just a few examples of what this historic area has to offer.
